Norman & Marcie’s Engagement Session

This was a warm up shoot for Norman and Marcie. A great couple with a lot of class. Normally and for the most part I direct the course of any particular session, but sometimes I tend to let the moment take me whatever that moment wants, and even though most of my captures are orchestrated to the last detail, they still speak true to the essence of each and every couple. Even a cliché` pose can posses a personal and intimate moment. Every photographer can control the technical aspect of any pose, hand movement, body curves, face tilt and so forth. The eyes however remain free from any technical boundaries. Eyes follow emotions and emotions are the key to any great and effective life style photography. The secret is to completely let go, relax and have fun. Norman & Marcie did exactly that and their images reflected their true and unembellished love.
